KOK Cassette Seals are a type of radial shaft seal designed for Heavy Duty Drive Train, Agricultural and Farm Machinery applications, where the seal is exposed to extreme dirt, mud and harsh operating environments. The cassette seal consists of multiple elements combined and often unitized to provide sealing in grease or oil lubricated applications. Often used on the wheel hub or wheel end, the sealing rings in these cassette seals rotate during operation. The slip ring or integrated wear sleeve is designed with a rubber cover to provide static sealing in heavy duty applications, and the design of the sealing ring is customized depending on the application and operating environment.
