V-Packings (Chevron Seals)

KOK V-packings are multi-lip sealing sets designed for high-pressure hydraulic applications requiring adjustable sealing force and long service life.

Each set typically consists of:

• Male adaptor ring
• Female adaptor ring
• Multiple V-section pressure rings

The chevron profile allows automatic pressure activation. As system pressure increases, sealing force increases proportionally.

Suitable For

• High-pressure hydraulic cylinders
• Heavy-duty industrial equipment
• Applications with pressure fluctuations and shock loads

Material Options

• NBR-based fabric reinforced compounds
• Neoprene-based reinforced compounds

For severe duty or high shock loading conditions, anti-extrusion elements can be integrated into adaptor rings.

Typical operating temperature range: -30°C to +110°C

Size range: 8 mm – 500 mm

Proper installation depth and groove design are critical to performance.
